3D keeps getting its ass (can I say “ass” in a Disney review?!),kicked in every write up you see. No one, (except me and Jim Cam), seem to be looking at the bigger picture. That in 2012 we get Star Wars and Titanic conversions. And I flat out refuse to believe JC will do that half-hearted. Disney too, with Lion King 3D roaring to #1 in the US Box Office. They are key moments.
In amongst it, Beauty 3D creeps out. (No major cinema release? Odd.)
I missed Tangled, but was reliably informed by Flash that the 3D was “drop dead gorgeous”. And I can see the potential here. There are so many highlights. From the opening crawl through the Forest, to the depth you get at the cross roads, as wind sand mist race passed.
