The New York Times R&D Lab has been hard at work making sure their medium doesn't become obsolete, though in the process, they have made another one—the kitchen table—so. Using Microsoft's Surface technology, researchers hope the new thing will be navigating the Times on something like a gigantic iPad, with more options and, well, you just have to watch this video to believe it.
