It’s not often that one man gets to make a mark on the world, it’s even less frequent that he flies almost completely under the radar while making that mark. Meet John A Rogers, inventor, researcher, teacher, one man trying to make a difference, no lime-light required. Like a graffetti artist we will all see the results of his work without knowing the artist. Today he is one of the most prolific inventors in america, with more than 300 published papers, 80 patents or applications, 50 of which are licensed or in active use. He currently holds a number of directorships, appointments and chairs -many seniour positions- but he also continues to lecture and teach. Like Edison, Tesla and other great inventors of the past we will all be reaping the benefits of his creativity for decades to come. Thank you and happy birthday Mr Rogers B★B
