Michele Bachmann released her first Iowa presidential campaign ad today. The 30-second spot features the GOP congresswoman, who represents Minnesota, touting her Iowa heritage. She made no mention of John Wayne, however.
"As a mom of 5, a foster parent, a former tax lawyer and now a small business job creator, I know that we can�??t keep spending money that we don�??t have," she says. "That's why I fought against the wasteful bailout, against the stimulus."
Bachmann is taking on Iowa full steam. She officially announced her candidacy in Waterloo, where she was born.
